Diaper Houdini

Drew figured out how to remove his own diaper. It happened the other day after a diaper change. Several of the snaps on his sleeper weren't fully fastened, or something like that. While in his crib, he managed to undo the rest of the snaps. Afterward, he must have reached down, pulled the tabs off his diaper, yanked the whole thing off, then tossed it over the railing. When his nap was over, the diaper was on the floor, under both his blankie and cookie monster.

After this happened, I realized I am thankful for many things, including:
(1) mattress protectors
(2) washing machines
(3) a baby who doesn't have a strong enough forearm to launch his diaper into his brother's crib
(4) a baby who is such a sound sleeper, he didn't wake up during his brother's caper
(5) a valuable lesson in making sure all snaps and tabs are securely fastened before bedtime

We haven't discovered taking off diapers yet, too busy climbing...but it's still onesie season!! Good luck.

hahaha. we thankfully never really had that problem. it was about the only disaster issue we didn't have with our girls. we had a couple of diaper ditches but not while napping :) Duct tape may soon be your best friend. LOL.
