Jeff is back in the ER tonight. This time with Drew, who, like his brother, couldn't shake his fever and hasn't been breathing normally. Identical much? And, like his aunt, he gags at the mere sight of medication. (My parents tell me that when my sister was a kid, she'd vomit as soon as she was told she'd have to take medicine.) Tonight, we tried to give him Motrin for his fever and he puked all over himself and me. His inability to keep fever reducers down makes it difficult for him to get relief. Therefore, we figured our best bet was to head to Children's...again. Can we sign up for a frequent flyer card? Is there platinum status that gets us seen immediately? Fortunately, Jeff didn't have to wait long despite how packed the waiting room was. I asked him how Drew was doing and he replied, "He told a triage nurse he liked her but then said this hospital doesn't have medicine." Whatever gets you through the night, little buddy.
Feel better, baby boy!
