Cabin fever

Because of Hurricane Ida, it rained for most of the week. As a result, we spent the last three days indoors. I truly think it is more exhausting to stay home than it is to be out and and about. We read every book we own at least five times each day. I tried to get the boys to color, but they still mainly eat their crayons. They played with their mega blocks for a while, but the blocks quickly turned into missiles. Drew played with his trains and helped me put the tracks together, but Henry played Godzilla and tore it all apart. We had a few dance parties, but we could only listen to toddler disco and They Might be Giants so many times. Even Dora got old. What do you do with 21 month old twin boys indoors? It's going to be a long winter if we can't be outside.
